Held in Mediterranean conditions (for this time of year!) the Leagues first visit to Penrhos, Ystradgynlais, proved to be a great success with 115 competitors taking part.

Daniel Gurmin (MMTG) fought off veteran Paul Richards (Neath Harriers) to win the mens race with Marc and Lewys Hobbs finishing third and fourth respectively.

There were some fine performances in the Under 20 section. Neath Jaguar Chris Melbourne pipped Port Talbot Harrier Keiron McIntosh on the line with Chris Driscoll just 3 seconds behind.

In the ladies race, Leah Dixon (Neath Harriers) joined an elite band of runners to win 4 successive West Glam League races. Once gain she managed to hold off the attentions of Ingrid Taylor (3M's Gorseinon), with Helen Marshall rewarded for her trip from Aberystwyth finishing third.

MMTG lead Mens Division 1 from Neath Black Tuesday, but a fine performance from Port Talbot Harriers has put Cornelly Striders in the relegation zone with Amman Valley Harriers.

In Division 2 Corus sealed promotion and they should clinch the Div 2 title at Fairwood. Team Wecori made home advantage pay to move into second spot ahead of Port Talbot Harriers Veterans to ensure a battle royale between the two teams in the final fixture.

In Division 3 Neath Jaguars continued their fine form with another win and look set to be promoted with Pembrokeshire Harriers.
.
Pembrokeshire Harriers were rewarded for their journey by winning the ladies race by two points rom Swansea Harriers, but it was not enough to alter the position at the top of the table with 3M's Gorseinon R.R still clear leaders.
.
In the individual mens section, Daniel Gurmin and Lewys Hobbs are now tied in the overall table with Leah Dixon leading the ladies.

The final fixture is at Fairwood Common on March 9 with all to play for.
